ORGANIZATION: Cook Children's Medical Center

We are looking for a few special people with strong initiative and a "can do" attitude to volunteer in our pediatric specialty clinic as Ambassadors. The purpose of this volunteer role is to provide the most positive experience possible for the over 600 children who come in daily to see their specialists.

The Dodson Specialty Clinic Ambassador is outgoing, anticipates needs and takes the initiative to provide toys, books, and games for children in waiting rooms. He/She assists staff by running lab specimens or escorting patients out to their cars or to other clinic areas. The Ambassador supports parents by being a compassionate and empathetic listener. He/She ensures the safety of patients by disinfecting toys and wheelchairs after use.

If the above speaks to you, please join our Ambassador team and make a difference in the lives of children with chronic medical challenges.
