SET UP - Help set up canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs from before the market. This position can include heavy lifting.


INFORMATION BOOTH- These volunteers staff the Rockwood Farmers Market booth and welcome people to the market. Duties include answering customer questions, giving market-vendors bathroom breaks, taking pictures, and performing customer counts. This volunteer role involves lots of fun interaction with customers and vendors.


KIDS & EVENTS - With guidance from the Market staff, assist in the running of kids’ activities and special events at the market.


OUTREACH- Working with the Market staff and steering committee, assist in the promotion of the Rockwood Farmers Market and its educational programs that support the Market’s mission, distributing posters and fliers in the community and taking photos of volunteers, vendors and customers at the Market.


FOOD SAMPLING- Prepare and serve samples of produce available at the market, educate customers about benefits of healthy eating and share food prep and recipe ideas.


TAKE DOWN- Help take down canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs after the market. This position can include heavy lifting.
