NAMI Northern Illinois hosts free, educational programs on the second Tuesday of every month Sept - June. We are in need of volunteers to assist in planning programs and scheduling speakers, as well as attending programs to help with set-up/take down, sign-in, and other small tasks.

NAMI Northern Illinois is a grass, self help, non-profit organization in Northern Illinois, affiliated with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, (NAMI and NAMI Illinois). We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with severe mental illness and their families through education, support and advocacy. We serve Boone, Winnebago and all the surrounding northern Illinois counties. Our members are families, friends, professionals, advocates and people living with mental illness.
