Room 8 Memorial Cat Foundation is a private, non-profit, no-kill shelter for cats. Kitten season is pretty much year round and we always need volunteers to help foster kittens! This would be a temporary, short-term opportunity -- only until the kittens are old enough to be spayed or neutered and put up for adoption. Fostering is done in your home. It can involve bottle-feeding the little ones, or just socializing and caring for the ones who have already been weaned. There also might be opportunities to take a mom cat along with her kittens -- again, a temporary situation until they are ready to come back to the shelter and be adopted. Fostering is done in your home; we supply the kittens and food, you supply the love and care!

Description
Room 8 Memorial Cat Foundation is a private, non-profit cat shelter. Volunteers are needed to help care for and socialize cats to help them stay healthy and happy while waiting for their forever homes. There are cats waiting to be adopted, others who are a little on the feral side and in need of socialization to help make them adoptable, and older kitties who probably will live out their lives in the comfort of the sanctuary. We can always use help in the cattery, whether it be cleaning, feeding, or petting and grooming. All the cats just want some love! You can come and just pet and play!
