Do The Write Thing of DC is seeking one or two fundraising and marketing specialists to help with writing grant proposals, organizing special events, writing articles, writing and diseminating press releases, developing monthly newsletter, setting up virtual blog tours for books published by the organization, using social media to help build the brand.

Mission Statement
To enhance the life success of children and youth through after-school and summer enrichment programs.
Description
Instills interest in reading in young children by creating personalized books; engages teens in poetry writing/publishing workshops, Poetry Slams, book signings, songwriting, music production, music video production plus job and college readiness workshops. Eligible youth, age 14-17, are paid to participate during the summer.
