Seeking experienced social media activists who are adept at FB, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Periscope, Twitter, HootSuite, etc. We need individuals who are committed to volunteer and dedicated to human rights. This volunteer opportunity is very specifically related to a conference that will be held in Washington DC in October. The purpose of the online presence is to increase attendance, generate buzz, recruit volunteers, highlight the conference in general, make announcement related to the conference and speakers, etc. The social media director(s) will need to commit to engaging the online communities every week, preferably most days of each week. Much of the information to be posted will be given directly to the volunteer(s). Some of it will be from the volunteers' initiative. We also need the volunteer(s) to be be creative in their use of social media, responsible in their use and posts, and excited about what we're trying to accomplish.

We are an international human rights organization that oversees the Global Human Trafficking Programs & Resources Database. We also direct the International Advisory Council responsible for the exchange of ideas and solutions that address the root causes of human trafficking.
