The Valley Relics Museum is looking for an awesome volunteer (or two) to assist in cataloging the museum archive collection. Must have some experience of handling and processing archival material. Perfect opportunity for someone thinking of pursuing a career in archives or an MLIS.

Mission Statement
Our endeavor is to collect, preserve, interpret, and present the history of The San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas in order to share with residents and visitors alike the stories of those who shaped the region and its role in the nations development. Valley Relics is a non profit organization 501(c)3.
Description
The Valley Relics Museum boasts a vast collection of historical artifacts pertaining to the San Fernando Valley. The collection includes rare photographs, vintage neon signs, postcards, yearbooks, negatives, books, art, automobiles and bicycles from the Valley's past. Valley Relics is a nonprofit organization 501 (c) 3 with an endeavor to preserve and protect our local history and its artifacts while educating the public on the rich history of the San Fernando Valley.
