The Calgary Dream Centre is committed to meeting individuals where they are and providing them with the tools necessary to move forward into strong, healthy lives. The three phases of our process include: addiction recovery, transitional housing, and long term affordable housing. Our ultimate goal is for the men and women we serve to reconnect to their families and become productive, contributing members of society. You can be a part of that through volunteering.
Currently we offer two evenings each month for employee groups to come into the Calgary Dream Centre and serve our guys their evening meal. You will help with prep work, serve dinner and then eat with the men who live here after you're done. These opportunities fill up fast so please schedule early.
If your employee volunteer group would like, there is an option to take the evening's meal to the next level by purchasing the ingredients for a special dinner. The base meal has no cost associated however.
Meal service begins at 5:00 pm and goes until 6:00 pm. Groups should plan for a 4:30 pm arrival time for orientation and setup. If your groups would like a tour of the Calgary Dream Centre beforehand, please arrive by 4 pm.
