Cathi Art Speaks
Cathi volunteers with Art Speaks once a week to assist the artists in creating their masterpieces. She says she truly enjoys the relationships she has built with the people served. When Cathi is there, it is not just like having an extra pair of hands, it's like having a partner.

Want to help people with disabilities find their voice through art?

Art Speaks is our art therapy program that allows the people we serve express themselves through a variety of art mediums. As a volunteer, you provide an invaluable extra set of hands to set up art supplies and assist artists in creating their work. Volunteers make it possible for more of the people we serve to participate at one time!

We are flexible to your needs. Come once a month, bi weekly or every week. Choose a location and time that works best for you!

Anoka, MN : Fridays 12pm-1pm

Crystal, MN: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 12:30pm- 1:15pm

Bloomington, MN: Mondays or Thursdays 12pm- 1pm

Description

Rise offers over 40 programs to assist people in meeting their employment and housing goals. These include vocational assessment, career planning, job training, job placement, and follow-up support services as well as outreach to people who are homeless, independent living skills training, and transitional housing. Headquartered in Spring Lake Park since 1971, Rise has 30 offices located in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Western Wisconsin, and we work with hundreds of businesses in those communities.
