AnimalKind CARES is a community outreach program that visits people door to door and hopes to focus on pet owners. We deliver pet food, toys and provide free spay/neuter surgery for people that agree to fix their pets.

This project is a colloboration with the City of Burlington Animal Services to encourage pet owners to be responsible and spay/neuter their animals. Alamance county NC has major overpopulation problems so by encouraing pet owners to fix their pets, and helping them get them to the vet for surgery will reduce animals coming into the shelter.

If you enjoy meeting new people, and are physically able to walk door to door with our volunteers we encourage you to contact us.

We are accepting people for community service hours, or volunteer hours needed for colleges but require a volunteer application to be submitted beforehand to determine if you are applicable.
