Volunteers In Action provides courtesy transportation to patients and their family on our expansive 45 acre campus. Must be over eighteen with a valid Washington State drivers' license. Must pass the Washington State Patrol background check. Must ebe able to physically assist passengers into and out of the van. Abililty to communicate in an appropriate manner to patients and visitors. Always maintains professional behavior. The courtesy van operatiang Monday through F riday 8:00 am to 12 pm (morning shift) and 12:00 pm to 4 pm (afternoon shift).

Description
Volunteers in Action (VIA) is Valley Medical Center's volunteer organization and includes volunteers assisting in various areas throughout the hospital, providing the extra touch that means so much to patients, visitors and colleagues. VIA volunteers help in the beautiful Gift and Floral Shops, Information Desk, escort patients and serve in a wide variety of other roles.
