As a classroom tutor you would interact with ESL students individually and/or in small groups. The class could be English Language Learning, Reading, Writing, or Conversation Practice, depending on your interests and schedule.
The time commitnent is once a week, M-Th, 1-3 hours, depending on the class. There are tutoring choices in the morning, early afternoon, and evening.
It is not necessary to speak another language.
Volunteers say they enjoy the fun and interest of getting to know students, and being part of their learning.
