CISP Volunteer Mentors make a difference!

Volunteers mentors are needed at Vaughn Elementary School on Tuesdays in it's after-school program. The focus is aimed at helping elementary age students improve their reading skills, and work on math basic (such as flash cards and games). They meet Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 pm.

Communities In Schools of Peninsula is the leading drop-out prevention program in the nation and it is has helped thousands of children stay in school and achieve higher academic success with the help of a caring, consistent adult in their lives. Join us in making a difference in the life of a child!

Description

Communities In Schools of Peninsula (CISP) serves children and families residing within the boundaries of Peninsula School District (Key Peninsula/Gig Harbor). CISP partners with the schools and local community agencies to provide programs and services that alleviate the barriers impeding the learning of our youth.
