The War Horse is looking for a thorough and meticulous volunteer who is willing to help us with research, such as:
- Locating, downloading, and organizing documents (Includes government databases and repositories that will be used to explore war and trauma, war crimes, systemic wrongdoing, and establishing the Post-9/11 timeline at war.)
If you are interested in helping us accomplish even just one of these areas, please consider volunteering. We are a very small startup and we need all the help we can get so we can focus on profiling Post-9/11 KIA. Thank you for your time and any support you can provide. I hope we hear from you soon.

To be the trusted authority on Post-9/11 conflict by sharing on-the-ground, personal perspectives from those who were there and those who waited patiently behind.
Description
The War Horse is a non-profit investigative journalism outlet and member of The Institute for Non-Profit News. Our areas of coverage include the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. In addition, we will also profile all men, women, and military working dogs killed since 9/11.
Journalism is about documenting the human experience. It is the act of listening, observing, recording, and publishing stories about people-and doing so fairly and accurately. The War Horse will be home to the most in-depth documentation of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Stories from individuals who were on the ground, the Generals who led them, and the friends and family who support them from home will provide context for thinking about these wars and the wars that haven't yet been waged.
