About Waltham Fields Community Farm
240 Beaver Street, Waltham, MA 02452, US
Waltham Fields Community Farm (WFCF) promotes local agriculture and food access through our farming operations and educational programs, using practices that are socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable. We encourage healthy relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows. We envision communities in which sustainable agriculture plays a central role in creating universal access to the food and beauty of local farms.
Waltham Fields Community Farm promotes hunger releif, education about farming, and farmland preservation through a number of programs. These include donations to food programs and local schools, a subsidized farmers market, subsidized CSA shares, after school programs, service learning opportunities, farmer training, a learning garden program, and much more! WFCF also hosts and cohosts a variety of events, including the annual Waltham Farm Day, a celebration of harvest activities and farming in Waltham.
