The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is looking caring and compassionate senior companions for our Spanish speaking patients who have been identified by their social worker as someone who would benefit from visits. Visits may be to provide company to an homebound and isolated senior, or to help provide respite to family members caring for a senior who may not otherwise have the opportunity to have time to themselves.
Visitors might play card games, share stories, or simply sit quietly with their companion.
If you feel that you could fill the important role. Please contact Volunteer and Student Services and we can begin the process of you joining our team.
