A sweet 85 yr. old lady who has heart problems and arthritis in the knees and has to use a walker could really use some help with housework chores. She has no family in town and would welcome visiting along with housework. Even a couple of times of assistance a month would be a big help to her.

Volunteer Chore Services provides a wide range of household tasks and assistance that enable low-income elderly and disabled clients to remain in their own homes with dignity, safety, and a connection to their community.
Description
Volunteer Chore Services is a program of Catholic Charities, started as a safety net for elders and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance. Assistance includes housework, laundry, transportation, shopping and various other independent living requests.
Catholic Charities affirms the dignity of every person, partnering with parishes and the greater community to serve and advocate for those who are vulnerable, bringing stability and hope to people throughout Eastern Washington.
Volunteers can choose which chore or chores they wish to help with and how often they want to help. Volunteers can set their own schedules.
