We our looking for local volunteers in Broward and Dade county.

This includes volunteering at 17 dolphin/U of M games (september -January)

- Going into our partner organizations and mentor an assigned group of youth (range from human trafficking victims, boys and girls teens etc) to work on their financial literacy workbooks, teach and promote healthy money habits and skills for life, establish and evaluate investments, help develop business plans and assist with the launching and executing of their new venture. Mentors and volunteers may allocate any amount of time (weekly, monthly, bi-weekly).

Student Finance League partners with existing organizations adding financial literacy and business applications developing skills for life. The focus is on intelligent capital management, entrepreneurial spirit and personal accountability helping break negative social cycles.

Description

Our goal is to expose and educate our students in basic finance and business applications. With support from Founders, Partners and experts, Student Finance League ("SFL") improves the quality of life for future generations. SFL is a platform in which our students receive personal mentoring from professionals, educators and successful entrepreneurs who instill knowledge and hope. SFL is a comprehensive program that not only focuses on critical financial literacy, but also develops execution skills. These include establishing bank accounts, evaluating investments, designing REALISTIC business plans, as well as forming businesses to generate consistent income with an emphasis on capital management
