About us:

Established in 2006, Center for the Integration & Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is a social service organization that works to integrate new immigrants from South Asia, Middle-East, and North Africa into American society.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated volunteer to focus on events as a means of both fundraising and fun for our organization! You’ll have the opportunity to work with our wonderfully diverse client-base and dedicated volunteers. as well as staff and funders.


  • Create proposals for formal and informal events to submit to executive director
  • lead a team to plan, organize, and implement one or several fundraising/marketing events
  • Create and implement budget
  • Reach out and negotiate with venues etc.
  • draft event related public relations materials
