We are needing volunteers in many areas but would love to have 1-2 people who can help with the coordination of volunteers.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Volunteer coordinator will meet with management staff to assess volunteer needs for agency.
Volunteer coordinator will recruit potential volunteers based on agency's need.
Volunteer coordinator will establish contact with volunteers and create scheduling for volunteer duties.
Volunteer coordinator will check in with management staff weekly to provide status updates on volunteer activities and assess whether new needs have arisen for volunteer duties.

Description
A compssionate consumer-run mental health servieces agency founded in 2005, Heart and Soul Inc. now reaches over 7000 program participants per year through our Self Help Centers and anti-stigma programming. We offer a variety of recovery oriented and wellness support classes within San Mateo County.
Supporting our participants in taking a whole-person centered approach towards their mental wellness is our goal. Through peer-to-peer counseling, self-help groups and our highly respected campaign, Seeing Through Stigma, we encourage individuals with mental health challenges to be engaged in their recovery efforts.
