Eden Area Village's mission is to provide neighborhood-based support to enable its members to stay in their homes as they age, continuing a high quality of life and remaining engaged in their community.
Description
Eden Area Village is part of a fast growing movement of neighborhood Villages sweeping the nation with the mission of helping our neighbors remain in their homes as they age. A Village is a membership-based, non-profit organization that provides assistance and services, such as rides to the doctor, minor home maintenance, social activities and daily check-in calls, utilizing volunteers, vetted contractors, and a small staff.
Eden Area Village will serve the communities of Hayward, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo and surrounding unincorporated areas.
