Summer Literacy Program Volunteer
The Housing Authority of St. Louis County (HASLC) believes that every child can learn. We also believe that all children should start school on or above grade level.
HASLC's Summer Literacy Program is designed to strengthen the literacy skills of the children within our developments. Our goal is to help children foster a love for reading. Children are engaged in activities such as reading, cooking, science experiments, and other hands on literacy activities. Children will also be introduced to coding or computer programming. HASLC is providing breakfast and lunch to help insure the healthy development of our children. The Literacy Program is free to all children within our developments.
