ORGANIZATION: Scientific Adventures for Girls

  • 6 people are interested

Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAFG), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, provides after school and summer STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs to young children with a special focus on girls and disadvantaged youth. SAFG's goals are to increase positive attitudes toward STEM in K-5th grade female students and to increase hands-on learning opportunities for girls everywhere (including in economically marginalized areas) to explore STEM concepts and encourage lifelong learning of STEM subjects.

We write grants to secure funding for classes in disadvantaged areas. We could really use the expertise of someone with grant writing experience and/or business development experience to review our grant proposals, give us suggestions and to also provide any advice around any other strategies to win the grants. Also, if you have recomendations on fundraising strategies in general.

This work is done virtually at your convenience. Any time you can offer would be beneficial.
