We are looking for motivated individuals who have an interest in immigration services. The Citizenship Volunteer(s) will work closely with the management team to review and assist citizenship paperwork and prep clients for the citizenship exam. Volunteer hours and days can be flexible, however, due to the demand, we do ask that volunteers be committed to this assignment for at least three months.
Desired volunteer candidates will demonstrate the following skills:

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, AARRC is a community-led refugee organization driven by the collective determination to make a positive impact on the lives of those displaced by conflict, persecution, and violence. With a team of dedicated volunteers and experienced professionals, we strive to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for every individual we serve.
AARRC offers a wide range of services tailored to the unique needs of each refugee we assist:
- Navigational Support: We provide guidance and assistance with essential services, including housing, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities, helping refugees navigate through the complexities of their new environment.
- Language and Cultural Integration: Our language and cultural programs are designed to bridge the gap and promote a sense of belonging. We offer language classes, cultural workshops, and intercultural exchange activities to foster understanding and friendship.
- Skill Development: AARRC offers skill-building workshops and vocational training to enhance employability and self-sufficiency, empowering refugees to build a secure and prosperous future.
- Community Building: We understand the importance of building a strong support network. AARRC organizes community events and gatherings to bring refugees together with local residents, creating an inclusive and harmonious community.
