EZRA's Health and Nutrition program pairs the basic-need fulfillment of weekly meals and a food pantry with a variety of health and wellness programs to improve the overall health of our clients. One of our most popular programs is our annual Health Fair.

This Health Fair brings health care and wellness professionals from around the north side of Chicago into one room. We hope to increase access to and awareness of essential health services for our clients and community members.

This year's Health Fair will include:

  • glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol screening,
  • women’s health information,
  • an Oak Street Health booth,
  • BMI and waist circumference screenings,
  • a physical therapy booth,
  • SNAP Outreach,
  • a dietitian,
  • a stress reduction booth,
  • and more!

Our volunteers will have the opportunity to act as greeters/sidewalk outreach, help collect surveys as people leave the health fair, or lead an art project at our art therpay booth. Snacks will be provided.
