Nurses and student nurses are needed to volunteer as little as 4 hours per month, to provide wellness checks to low-income seniors in the Denver Metro area. HealthSET provides free monthly health promotion clinics that include wellness checks, care coordination, and follow-up care to the low-income elderly living in the Denver Metro area. HealthSET’s goal is to promote independence, enhance quality of life, improve health, and prevent disease and injury for the low-income seniors in our communities. Our team of dedicated nurses and client advocates meet our clients where they are to provide clinical preventive services including routine screening, immunizations, and education to give the most vulnerable seniors the resources they need to live independently and preserve their quality of life. As a mobile clinic, we remove the barriers to basic preventive care that many low-income seniors experience.
Our nurse volunteers attend our monthly clinics and provide basic preventive care and screening services for our clients right in their living facility. Visit our website at healthset.org for more information.
