We are looking for individuals with prior programming experience to teach or assist teaching an introductory programming class for youth ages 10 through 18. We are currently teaching Scratch (drag and drop program) to the younger students, but will teach Python with high school students. Knowledge of other programming languages would be sufficient for the scope of the course. Class currently takes place from 4-6pm on Wednesdays, but we have some flexibility based on volunteer schedules. Thank you in advance for your interest! Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
This opportunity is located at the NYA Watts Campus located at St. John's Learning Center, across the street from the historic Watts Towers and foundation park. Come join us as we create a special opportunity for the students. We look forward to hearing from you!
