The Sno-Valley Senior Center is seeking volunteers that enjoy cooking and like to have fun. Work with our experienced Meal Manager to put together delicious and nutritious meals. The Prep Cook Volunteers will help the Meal Manager prepare, cook and serve meals. If you have experience baking, cooking, handling knives and reading recipes please apply. You will need to obtain a food handler’s permit from KingCounty.org. It’s helpful if you enjoy working with people, helping seniors having fun.
- Follow recipes - cook, chop and bake
- Follow simple directions
- Clean up kitchen
- Interact with other volunteers and lunch customers
Goals for this Position:
A delicious and nutritious lunch prepared and served on time.
Qualifications:
- Baking and cooking
- Knife skills
- Reading recipes
- Lifting
- Cleaning dishwasher
- Food Prep Handlers Permit
Hours and Duration of Position:
Any weekday, 9:30am - 1:30pm
