We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for style and helping women in transistion. Your role will be to create a positive experience for a "Y" woman while she navigates our free women’s boutique. You will assist her with coordinating work appropriate outfits, accessories, and toiletries that help her to feel beautiful, confident and ready to achieve her goals.

Training typically consists of donation sorting, and shadowing appointments as experienced volunteers restock the store, welcome in two women at a time and assist each woman with finding clothing that meets her needs for interviews, work, school, court or home.

Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds, bend, stoop, use step ladders, position self around a cluttered stock room and be able to sort clothing by size and type.

We are particularly interested in volunteers who can commit to facilitating at least two appointments per month. Appointmens take place during YWCA office hours, Mon-Fri 8-5pm, and will be scheduled based on your availability. We can always work around your work or school schedule!
