Become a Support Group Leader with the Alzheimers Association

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.

The Alzheimer's Association is looking for volunteers who are interested in creating a support group in several areas of our Chapter territory. We are hoping to find volunteers who would like to spend a little time once a month to provide an avenue for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease to discuss and share the challenges they face.

A support group provides a safe, supportive environment to allow family members, friends, caregivers, and other interested individuals to meet regularly for mutual support and to exchange coping skills with one another in matters relating to Alzheimer’s disease. All support groups are free and open to the public and of no religious affiliation unless otherwise designated.

**A volunteer cannot be a current caregiver.
