To be a volunteer for the State Health Insurance Assistance Program you must live or be willing to serve in one of the following counties: Chester, Decatur, Henderson, Haywood, Hardin, Hardeman, Madison, or McNairy. You must report monthly to Kelsey Rotz about the individuals you talk to about Medicare. You can be an agency worker or a retired individual or anyone looking to give of their time to volunteer. There are many opportunites such as traveling to senior centers, setting up a booth at county fairs, health fairs, etc.

Description
For more than 67 years, Family & Children's Service has been helping families mend, by guiding individuals toward more independent and satisfying lives. As a result, our community-based programs deliver hope and healing through neighborhoods, homes, and schools throughout Middle Tennessee.
F&CS provides individual and family counseling. We are recognized experts in our field, offering a rich variety of healing resources for issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, and the emotional support needs of seniors as they continue to age. Additional services include school-based programs for at-risk children, nationally recognized trauma intervention services for children and their families, and a Crisis Center and 211 Information and Referral Service
