Requirements: ability to work well with others; have a keen eye for various clothing brands and sizes; must be highly organized
Responsibilities: receive, sort, and organize incoming donations specifically for Darla's Room; become familiar with the Joplin School District's Dress Code Policy, acceptable items specific for Darla's Room, as well as estimated donation values for received items; maintain proper records for donations received
The Incoming Donations Coordinator(s) are part of The Creative Workroom Team. The Creative Workroom Team acts as a multi-faceted receiving, sorting, and organizing room for Bright Futures Joplin. Donations include clothing and school supply donations for Darla's Room as well as from Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores via the Kids in Need Foundation. Upon delivery to the workroom, these items are also sorted, organized, and stored here.
The Incoming Donations Coordinator(s) will focus on donations from various individuals and organizations such as clothing and school supplies. They will record, sort, and separate the items according to guidelines in the Workroom.
*Training will be provided.
