We are a governing board of a four year old non-profit. We currently have four members, with one member due to rotate off soon. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to put in time to help us with ongoing funding issues, and to help us raise community awareness of our organization. Backgrounds in music, non-profit management, marketing, human resources, civil law or finance would all be welcome.

Mission Statement
The mission of SoCo Women’s Chorus is to give Austin area women the experience of musical artistry and excellence through choral singing and performing in a group which reflects the area’s diversity and is dedicated to community service.
Description
SoCo Women’s Chorus was founded in 2012 to provide Central Texas women with the experience of musical artistry and excellence through choral singing. We offer members the opportunity to use their voices to express their creativity through music and community service. This auditioned group performs music of varied genres with the highest integrity and passion.
SoCo Women’s Chorus is dedicated to community service through singing, fundraising, and service in local charities and public events.
Our belief is that music is the great healer and sealer - realizing lasting relationships are built through sharing music.
