The Collingswood Book Festival held in downtown Collingswood on Saturday October 1st, 2016 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm is a wonderful volunteer event that requires precise coordination.
To put on such a large event requires the dedication of countless volunteers. We are seeking 2 volunteer subcommittee members to assist the day of the event in guiding volunteers to their proper stations and checking in throughout the day.
Pre-event commitments are minimal. There will be one or two meetings in September either in person or online to coordinate what will be happening the day of.
The volunteer time options are:
7:00 am - 9:00 am - This person will help assist with the street volunteers. As this is a multi-block event you will direct your volunteers to their various stages to assist in the quick and efficient set up of booths.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Assist with tent volunteers for your designated areas
12:00pm - 3:00 pm - Assist with tent volunteers for your designated areas
We are open to any time you have available so we can assign a position that fits into that time and you still have time to look around and see and hear the authors speak.
If interested, please contact us as soon as possible at cbfvolunteer@yahoo.com.
