Bright Futures Joplin is looking for long-term project volunteers to help with the donation center initiative: Darla's Room.

The Bright Futures Joplin Initiative, Darla's Room, focuses specifically on meeting the immediate clothing needs of K-12 children in the Joplin Schools. We collect clothing through clothing drives and miscellaneous donations.

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALISTS

Requirements: Discretion and confidentiality; highly organized; detail orientated; person must be FERPA trained, will train the right person

Responsibilities: In order to stay in compliance with state regulations and policies, it is mandatory to conduct a monthly inventory count of the items in Darla's Room. The Inventory Control Specialists will count and record inventory items manually once a month; assess 'current inventory' in situations where key staff members may need to make a call-to-action in order to replenish the donation center supplies
