Join the Town Of Rochester Environmental Conservation Committee and Riverkeeper for a cleanup by kayak of Rondout Creek on Saturday, May 6, 2017 for the 6th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River.

Volunteers will meet at the Rail Trail Entrance on Berme Rd in Accord, NY. Pull up to the gate to unload your boat, then park in the lot or along the Rail trail driveway so the most amount of cars can park and enter/exit. Parking in the Rail Trail lot is limited so volunteers should carpool if at all possible. For this site, volunteers must bring a personal boat (kayak or canoe), Personal Flotation Device (PFDs) and paddle(s). Please be prepared to get wet. Due to the nature of the cleanup, this site is not suitable for elementary-aged children.
