Are you a pro when it comes to housekeeping and cleaning? Do you have a knack for organizing? Grace Hospice is seeking volunteers to do housekeeping for hospice patients. These are patients who can no longer care for themselves, and are IN NEED of assistance.
YOU can set the days/hours that you visit their homes and decide how much time you can commit to helping others. All hospice training and screenings will be provided, free of charge, and you will never find a more appreciative client.
Please visit our website at www.ghospice.com and complete a volunteer application, or phone our volunteer coordinator at (574) 208-9280 for more information.

Mission Statement
Our mission is for each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.
Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana is the first HarmonyCares Hospice in the state and has Nurses, CNA's/Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains and Volunteers that assist the patients and support their families wherever the patient considers their "home" to be.
The hospice philosophy focuses on comfort care not curative care. The goal of hospice care is for the patient to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Hospice care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
Hospice is a philosophy of caring for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose not to seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. It is a program for patients who are considered terminal and are expected to live six months or less if the disease follows its natural course, although many patients outlive this time frame.
We strive to improve the quality of life for all we serve including our patient's families, their neighbors, and the community they live in. We strive to make an impact with everyone we meet and improve the community as a whole.
Come make a difference with the first HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana. This is an opportunity that will change your life.
