Go Heroes Inc. is seeking a high level volunteer to serve as a Regional Director working side by side with the Managing Director, founders, and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have interpersonal skills, great organizational skills and be a big picture thinker. The Regional Director will embrace the value of helping police officers, firefighters and military veterans by development of Heroes in Action strategic goals and growth. Our ideal candidate is outgoing and is ready to give back to an up incoming, nonprofit. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.

About Our Organization:

Go Heroes Inc. (GHI) is an all volunteer non-profit that engages in community projects and events for the benefit of public safety personnel and veterans. Headquartered in the Dallas Texas suburbs, Go Heroes Inc. provides first responders and veterans with resources to aid in career changes or reintegration into the civilian sector. Coupled with leadership development and other opportunities, GHI utilizes our stakeholders skills and the incident command model to host events that raise funds for our programs and various partner charities. The organization was founded in 2013, and hosts’ events in 10 regions across the United States and overseas.

Primary duties:

1. Marketing

  • Coordinate between the HQ and Regions on monthly marketing plans and execution
  • Assist and monitor in generating leads
  • Identify new opportunities in fundraising and marketing

2. Fundraising and Service

  • Meet regional fundraising objectives and organizational missions
  • Monitor overall performance of each region according to the organizational policy and standards
  • Create fundraising plans and promotion strategies
  • Monitor leads follow up and close rate
  • Maintain and expand stakeholder base
  • Monitor overall stakeholder satisfaction of the region

3. Planning and Management

  • Participate in executive meetings
  • Lead and conduct regional meetings
  • Coordination amongst regions and/or with stakeholders when conflicts occur
  • Lead new organizational marketing events within the region
  • Assess volunteers’ performance and document any violations of organizational policy
  • Plan and coordinate between HQ departments and the regions
  • Analyze stakeholder analytics and fundraising data in making judgments and policies
  • Report to Managing Director on weekly basis

4. Volunteer Development

  • Engage in recruiting, training and managing volunteers
  • Keep volunteers motivated; reduce volunteer turnover ratio
  • Assist in regions if needed

Qualifications:

1. Experience: At least 5 years of management/supervisory experience
