About

Bucks County Opportunity Council Volunteers for Hope of the Harvest Charitable Garden

On the grounds of Delaware Valley University, fruits and vegetables are being planted and harvested to feed our friends and neighbors in need. Community partners have collaborated provide Bucks County food pantries with locally grown, healthy produce to supplement the non-perishable goods they distribute.

The Bucks County Opportunity Council coordinates volunteers for the garden each year. Hundreds of BCOC volunteers have spent thousands of hours hours in the garden since 2013- and we'll need more volunteers in 2016 to stake, sow, seed, weed and package produce in the garden. Groups are welcome!
