More than 3 years after Sandy, thousands of families are still struggling to rebuild. With your help, we can bring them home!
Friends of Rockaway is looking for passionate volunteers to help rebuild and repair homes for Sandy-impacted families in Rockaway and southern Brooklyn. Our volunteers engage in all stages of construction, including drywall, taping, mudding & painting. Experienced Site Supervisors will guide you through all aspects of the day's construction project, so no construction experience is necessary! We welcome individuals and groups of all sizes.
