Sound learning is partnering with WorkSource of Mason County to tutor individuals in basic computer skills.
Assist adults with basic computer skills including:
- word processing
- internet navigation for job search
- Educational software
- and using the new WorkSource job database.
There is no previous experience required, just patience and enthusiasm
tutors work in an open lab environment and also provide one on one support as needed.

Description
Sound Learning provides instruction to adults to improve reading, writing, and math skills; study for a GED;participate in a diploma program; or study English for Speakers of Other Languages. Our low-cost services are provided in Mason and Thurston Counties.
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) helping community members build their self-sufficiency and contribute to their local community through work, family life and education, providing services for 281 adults in Mason and Thurston counties during the 2009-2010 program year with over 10,000 hours of instruction time, thanks to our 185 volunteers and many supporters.
