The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatments, and ensuring access to high quality, specialized care. In all that we do, we are committed to fulfilling this mission.

Description

Since our founding in 1955, we have worked alongside the cystic fibrosis community to effectively transform a genetic disease in a single generation - making CF one of the most amazing stories in medicine today. Read about the milestones we've achieved in pursuit of a cure for cystic fibrosis. Through our venture philanthropy model, we provide early stage funding to companies to develop breakthrough drugs for adults and children with cystic fibrosis. Our federal and state advocacy efforts support our mission of ensuring that everyone with cystic fibrosis has access to high-quality, specialized care. We evaluate policies and legislation through one lens: How would this impact people with CF and their families?
