Dog People of Livingston is a dog rescue organization in need of a grant writer to assist us in applying for grants which will allow us to continue providing the services that our community has come to rely on. There are many grants available to animal welfare organizations and we are ready to take advantage of those funds! A few areas that we are interested in receiving grant funding include spay/neuter programs, veterinary care, technology (data management), and transport programs.

Our mission is to promote the welfare of dogs in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Through volunteer efforts, we strive to give every homeless dog in our community the chance they deserve to be adopted by a loving family into a wonderful home.
Description
Dog People of Livingston is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of homeless dogs in our community. We are a foster based rescue located in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Our dedicated team of rescuers, fosters, and volunteers works tirelessly saving the lives of dogs at our local kill-shelter as well as other homeless dogs throughout our parish. Through our adoption and transport programs as well as partnerships with northern rescues and shelters, we have been able to help over 200 puppies and dogs find their forever homes locally and out of state.
