We are currenty looking for general volunteers in the Bakersfield area to help with feline rescues in PetSmart (Ming Ave). We do provide an orientation and training.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Socializing with the rescue felines. This is very important!
- Cleaning cages: litter boxes, water and food bowls, etc...
- Answering customers questions about the felines in rescue.
- Adopting out SOXrescue's felines.
- Attending weekend events (not all weekends are required).
All in all this is meant to be a rewarding experience for both the volunteers and the felines in rescue.

SOXrescue helps save the lives of helpless felines. We help feral, injured, sick, and homeless felines by rehabilitating them and vaccinating and sterilazing them, then finding them loving forever homes.
