Become a YSC State Leader! YSC State Leader contributions include identifying local and state-wide resources for young women affected by breast cancer, as well as promoting outreach, education and awareness activities throughout their region.
Qualifications, Roles and Responsibilities of a State Leader Qualifications:- Diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 45.
- Recommended that you are at least one year from diagnosis.
- Willing to commit to 1 year with the option to recommit at the end of the year.

Mission Statement
Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed (age 40 and under) with breast cancer. YSC offers resources, connections and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful.
Description
YSC works to ensure that no young women faces breast cancer alone. YSC is a powerful community fighting breast cancer in young women working to:
- raise awareness that young women can and do get breast cancer
- decrease sense of isolation felt by young women affected by breast cancer
- build a diverse network of survivors, supporters & medical community members
- ensure young women have the tools needed to navigate their breast cancer experience
