This opportunity requires volunteers with marketing experience who are perhaps retired, or looking for a new opportunity, and between roles. The role involves contacting law firms and other service providers, including major firms that may be interested in sponsoring a pharmaceutical training event. The volunteer must have the ability to build strategy and to develop tac tics. They must have good telephone manners, and be extremely professional in their manners. This is a good opportunity for someone with sales experience that would like to transition into the pharma space.

Description
The Drug Development Boot Camp provides a total immersion training to new drug developers. It lasts two days and takes place in Boston once a year. This year it will take place on 19-20 November 2014.
Six to eight volunteers are needed to help with the smooth running of the meeting. Activities include handing microphones to speakers, responding to participant questions, etc. Training will be provided. Volunteers with Toastmasters training are preferred, although this is not essential. Confidence and an outgoing personality are necessary.
