We are looking for volunteers 55+ to assist staff at child care centers in Sussex County that partner with NORWESCAP's Starting Healthy Initiative in refurbishing a vegetable garden with the children. The volunteer will help develop and maintain the garden which could involve preparing the site, helping the children plant vegetables, weeding, watering and/or harvesting. The volunteer should have knowledge of growing vegetables and a desire to work with children. The volunteer position may require a CARI background check.
