Compassionate, Caring, and Giving Support to Hospice patients. This can include visiting, reading, taking walks, writing letters, bringing in music, supervising visits with pets, even massage therapy for volunteers with the necessary skills.

What is your special talent? Can you lend an ear, hold a hand or talk to someone about sports or pets? Can you read a few pages of a favorite book or listen to favorite songs? Can you offer companionship for an hour to allow a family member a break?

What is Hospice

Hospice is widely recognized as a service offering palliative (comfort) care to terminally ill individuals when curative treatment is no longer an option. Palliative care focuses on providing comfort and pain management, psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual support. Our team along side of our volunteers, whom we consider staff, partner together to provide Comfort, Dignity and Understanding at the end of life.
