We are a working board that needs help with the following tasks:
1. Creating a budget
2. Budget forecasting
3. Creating a fundraising strategic plan
4. Managing the grantwriting process
5. Bookkeeping and records management
6. Web/online and basic database management
Board members are elected to serve 1-year terms which can be extended for an unlimited amount of terms. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about reducing the achievement gap for girls in North Minneapolis and are willing to learn and grow with the organization. The Board meets once per month for two-hour meetings, with the ability to structure your comittment flexibly throughout the remainder of the month to suit your schedule.

Description
Project DIVA provides girls ages 11-18 with the tools to navigate challenging life situations and develop positive life goals through an intensive, 10-month weekly coaching program focused on six key focus areas of development: career readiness, academic achievement, emotional health, physical wellness, financial stability, and social health.
