Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Community Gardens!

Our communal garden helps foster self-reliance by encouraging people to come together to grow their own fresh, healthy food.

The Community Garden Program provides both the experience and resources to make this possible.

As Spring is now getting underway, various projects have sprung up!

How to help:

  • Donate vegetable plants and/or seeds by May 13th to help increase food security in your community.
  • Volunteer to help with:

    • Compost bin construction (materials will be provided)

    • Compost turning

    • Weeding

Contact Erin, the Community Engagement Coordinator at eduffy@communityactionuc.org or 801-691-5207 to join us in fighting food insecurity.

We thank you so much for being a part of this effort to bring members of our community the joy of growing their own nutritious food.
